Many Alseal® and Siloxseal® coatings are formulated to protect substrates at elevated temperatures, shown below in heat-resistant order. Formulated using inorganics, phenolics and silicones, heat-resistant coatings can withstand temperatures as high as 1600°F (871°C). They can be used in a variety of high-heat applications.

Alseal 143P
Water-based one-component phenolic coating. Excellent adhesion and flow combined with a low perm film provide high insulative strength. Also exhibits high chemical resistance and operating temperatures to 400°F (204°C) continuous, peaking to 600°F (316°C). Cures at 400°F (204°C).

Alseal 189P
Water-based one-component phenolic primer with anti-corrosive pigments. Excellent adhesion. Operating temperatures to 400°F (204°C) continuous, peaking to 600°F (316°C). Cures at 400°F (204°C).

Siloxseal 385
One-component silicone modified epoxy ester. Protects metals from oxidation and corrosion up to temperatures of 400°F (204°C) continuous. Adheres well to difficult metals such as brass or copper. Can air dry to tack-free and finish complete cure while in operation.

Siloxseal 210
Helps limit contact galling in environments up to 750°F (399°C).

Alseal 220i
A chromium-free aluminum-ceramic coating containing no known carcinogens or HAPs. Provides sacrificial corrosion protection and oxidation protection to temperatures of 1100oF (593oC). Formulated to be polished to a high shine “mirror-like” finish.

Siloxseal 350
Water-based one-component silicone coating maintains appearance and protects metal substrates up to 1200°F (649°C) depending on color. Offers corrosion protection, especially critical for parts that cycle in temperature and form condensate. Can air dry to tack-free and finish complete cure while in operation.

Siloxseal 225
Helps limit contact galling in environments up to 1200°F (649°C).

Alseal 528
Chromate/phosphate slurry filled with zirconium oxide helps limit oxidation and also insulates surfaces from heat up to 1400°F (760°C).

Alseal 625
This slurry-applied diffusion aluminide is especially designed to protect nickel- and cobalt-based parts. Provides a highly wear-resistant and heat oxidation resistant surface up to 1835°F (1002°C).
